Measuring your ring finger
This method can be used when you don't have access to an existing ring.
Prepare a String or Strip of Paper:
Cut a strip of paper or use a piece of string, about 1/4 inch (6-7 millimeters) wide and around 4-6 inches (10-15 centimeters) long.
Wrap it Around the Finger:
Gently wrap the paper or string around the base of the finger you want to measure. Make sure it's snug but not too tight, and mark where the ends overlap.
Measure the Length:
Using a ruler, measure the length from the marked point to the end in millimeters.
Use a Ring Size Chart:
Compare the measured length to a ring size chart. This will give you the approximate ring size. Again, be aware of any regional differences in ring sizing standards.
